The sequel to the acclaimed space flight simulation game, Kerbal Space Program 2 has been fully redesigned from the ground up to meet the demands of modern. Kerbal Space Program 2 has had a lengthy development cycle, dating all the way back to its original reveal back in August 2019. Squad has also begun pitching in on the new game after winding down development of the original Kerbal Space Program in 2021. Star Theory was abruptly fired back in 2020 and KSP2 was put in the hands of new Seattle studio Intercept Games, which hired away a large number of devs from Star Theory.
